Hi, I’m Dr. Tom Preston, a chiropractor just like you, and my purpose in life is to inspire authenticity. I have devoted my life to helping people be their most authentic by helping them “be” more so they can “do” more and therefore “have” more. I have been speaking, teaching, coaching, consulting and advising in this great profession for over 20 years and have personally helped more than 1,000 docs design and live the life and practice of their dreams.

I studied at the University of Toronto before receiving my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. After that I was headed to face the world just as every new chiropractor does and foolishly opened two brand new practices from scratch …….. YIKES …… that was tough.

I worked as long and hard as I was physically capable of, which started to cut into my family time. I didn’t work to live I lived to work and since I didn’t feel like I could afford to take a vacation I was quickly headed for burnout…….. sound familiar anyone?

I had an “A-Ha” moment ……. Which I will tell you about in a minute …… and that is when my life started to change! I began by cutting my hours at the office and making more time for my family. I started taking vacations and was finally starting to recharge my batteries more often, allowing me to be my best when I was present in the office. The PTC made a HUGE difference in not only my practice but in my personal life as well. My relationship with my wife, children, friends and extended family members started to flourish.

Soon enough I only worked 24 hour weeks and had 10 weeks of vacation per year…… UTOPIA!

My mission now is to ASSIST people just like you to find their most authentic expression in their practice and personal life and allow them to express it fully through my various coaching programs, consulting and advising services as well as my many products.

My “A-Ha” moment

After several years of practice and “living to work” I realized that I had spent way too many days, and too many hours per day at the office. I had the realization that I was NOT BEING AUTHENTIC to myself and my core values with the quantity and quality of time I was spending with my family nor with the level of service I was providing my practice members. I knew I was destined to serve a lot more people and manifest my authentic vision for my life but I was not going to get there doing it the way I had been doing it.

So I put all my energy and focus into becoming more authentic in every aspect of my life and only expressing myself in a way that was congruent with my core values. I soon became more efficient, more focused and much more effective in everything that I did.

It was this realization about the POWER OF AUTHENTIC EXPRESSION that allowed things to happen for me in my life and in my practice, and that is what my life has become devoted to sharing.

Working harder is not usually the answer!

Becoming congruent with your core values and expressing yourself from that place is what allows for all the power, wisdom and creativity of your most authentic self to express itself fully.
